I have a VW dune buggy and I used this filter for my VW 1600 Dune Buggy, I cant comment on how well it works but I believe other VW's Buggies use this similar one. So far so good.

I have owned three Vdubs in my life. And one thing I have learned is that you have to put the right oil filter on these cars. They have a high oil pressure, and if you use the wrong filter, you can do some damage. Well worth the cost.

One of my best friends is an automotive enthusiast and has always told me to buy a Bosch oil filter. I finally bought one and he was completely right. Look at this Bosch filter compared to a Fram (what I'd always used) and you'll see the difference. These actually have a filtration system that'll keep your oil clean and debris out of your enjoy. Completely worth your money (bought it on amazon for what a Fram would cost me at Walmart).
