I used this filter in my Range Rover and saved several bucks over buying the original from the dealership. I had zero problems with installing this filter into my vehicle. Just make sure to purchase a 35mm socket if you don't own one as it is needed to open the oil filter "canister".

I ordered it after I check with Amazon, it shows this filte fit my vehicle, however when I open the part, it is longer than the one in the car. (After I already drained the oil)

I have to order another one from local store.

Amazon's part matching system stated that the filter cartridge would correctly fit my 2004 BMW X5 4.4i V8. This is not the case. I was most upset as I realized this after the car was up, oil was drained, and I did not have another spare. Now I'll know to always have a backup and just rotate the new one in. Lesson learned. If it fits your car great, but just double check the dimensions.

Purchased for a BMW 740iL. Oil filters aren't that terribly complex. Looks well made, and should function just fine. Fits correctly.
