This oil filter was the perfect fit for my 2005 V8 VW Touareg. Check out the Mann Filter USA website it calls out this part number specifically for the 2005 V8 VW Touareg. The equivalent VW part number is 077 115 562.When changing oil on this vehicle, don't forget you need a pair of oil drain plug washers (yes, there's two). Those are VW part number WHT000406 I usually pick these up from the local VW dealer. I haven't found an equivalent on Amazon...yet.
