I usually use K&N. Thought I would give this a try as it was priced so cheap. So far I cannot tell the difference between this and higher priced filters. If it holds up as long as my K&N have then I am sold on these.

I purchased this Spectre Air Filter for a 2000 Dodge Dakota V6 in a attempt to improve fuel mileage. I have not noticed an increase or decrease in MPG but have noticed an increase in power. I would estimate at least 15 HP increase compared to a stock paper air filter. So if your looking to gain MPG, I don't see finding it in a High Performance air filter. As for Spectre brand air filters, I feel that they are as good if not better than high dollar brand name filters.

Quality seems just as good a the name brand filters. Fit my Jeep perfectly without any cutting necessary. Would recommend!

Had tryed K&N filter for Jeep Cherokee with 4.0 inline 6 cylinder, K&N filter was too short long way witth was ok required makeing adapter so K&N filter would seal properly.

Spectre was an exact fit, installed, fit perfectly. Very pleased with Spectre filter better fit for half the price

This filter is better than your average paper filter and cheaper than the same design K&N filter. The only issue I had when installing this filter is that the filter did not fit perfectly, this leaves about a 2mm size opening between the top and bottom of the air box but when clamped down makes a tight seal with just a thin lining of the rubber cover between. Just a thought to share to future buyers that this will work but might not be the same fit as the oem brand
