The BOSCH #68015 Fuel Pump Filter Screen is exactly as pictured -it is rectangular in shape when seen from the overhead view (as in the picture). An end view shows a semi-elliptical shape, and a side view gives the appearance of roundness with the bonded edge seams at the center on 3 sides.

The Amazon illustration is accurate, and exactly matches the description of the item in the box marked Bosch #68015 Made in USA.

The Bosch #68015 Filter Screen fits the Bosch #69128 and the Bosch #69646 Fuel Pumps perfectly.

The filter material is Nylon, with an inner screen of fine mesh surrounded by an outer screen of a slightly coarser mesh, which gives a double layer of protection against contaminants.

The filter screen comes with NO INSTRUCTIONS, so care must be taken when installing the new filter screen. Instructions on Filter Screen installation from other sources :

1. Do not TWIST the filter and/or the pump when installing -push the screen STRAIGHT ON firmly, but DO NOT tap, strike, or hammer on the plastic screen.

2. To install: Grasp the filter screen in your left hand, with fitting end between the two middle fingers and your left thumb pressing on the screen opposite the fitting. Grasp the pump in your right hand and bring the fitting to the pump. Align the pump and screen, and then push the screen fitting STRAIGHT ON to the pump !!

Presto-change-o, and you're good to go !!

Item pictured is a round filter, but the item that arrived was a rectangular type similar to this: http://www.amazon.com/Airtex-FS175-Fuel-Pump-Filter/dp/B000ZMWZ88/ref=pd_sbs_auto_7 but it was in a box with the correct P/N marked (68015).

Other websites show the 68015 to be a round filter as pictured, so it's obviously not Amazon's fault,but they sent me a prepaid mailing label and cheerfully refunded my money. Great service!

Works great on 1999 Honda Accord LX with 2.3L engine. I purchased a Bosch 69496 fuel pump and this screen as a new screen is required to get warranty.

It fit great and has been working well for 3 months.
