Had joint leak at junction of new bulkhead (aka "clamshell") and so far it seems to have prevented water seepage into basement. Haven't had a heavy rain yet,so the ultimate test is still pending. I would have preferred fiberglas tape rather than the cloth, which would have made the resin/epoxy application MUCH easier. Suggestion: Wear a pair of disposable latex gloves...sometimes it becomes a hands on situation. HINT: Refrigerate the hardener first;it will buy you a few minutes before things start to set up. SECOND HINT...Go to a Dollar Store and buy a 3-pak of cheap brushes for a buck. It'll be the best investment you can make.

Product performed well and directions were good. Price was right and size was good. This was only my second time doing fiberglass but the direction helped me through. I used this to repair a broken ladder. Saved a lot of money.Best Deals for Bondo 420 Fiberglass Resin Repair Can Kit - 1/2 Pint
I ordered this kit to repair a rather large crack in a fiberglass canoe. The kit was simple, complete, and had enough product to get the job done with plenty left over. It works great, even when applied by an amateur. Highly recommended! (just remember to wear gloves, it took me a couple days to get all the resin out of my fingernails...)Honest reviews on Bondo 420 Fiberglass Resin Repair Can Kit - 1/2 Pint
This kit was awesome fixed my jet ski like a charm. I had a 3" x 3" hole on the front end on a corner surface. It looked hard to fix but this kit had just the right amount of resin and fiberglass. I highly reccomend this kit for jet ski repairs. This is not as hard as it looks with the kit.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Bondo 420 Fiberglass Resin Repair Can Kit - 1/2 Pint
Unless you are using the ENTIRE contents of the kit at once, this kit is very poorly done. There is no way to measure anything less than using the entire bottle of resin and the entire tube of hardener, because you can't measure out the resin (opaque container with no measuring marks) and the hardener is simply a colorless liquid (no way to even go by color change on the ratio).Pretty expensive and wasteful and certainly designed this way deliberately to force the consumption of the entire kit at once.
So, if you need to lay down about two square feet of fiberglass cloth (although if you did, there is no way to soak that large a piece with the contents of this kit) at once, then, not a bad kit.
