Fits great in 2000 Toyota echo and holds back the dirt well. It is not the box type but rather the flat accordion type that you can flex and put into the filter holder. I never saw the original so i can't say if the original had a plastic edge box seam or not. But tried this cause it was $2 less than wix....so far so good !
