These brake pads are full ceramic, produce minimal dust, and after 12k miles still have over 80% of the pad left. These are great pads for the price I paid! I couldn't even purchase metallic pads from Autozone for this price! Be sure to keep your eye on these pads or the Prime Choice Ceramic Pads if you know you have a brake job impending. I would say the Prime Coice pads are top-notch, highest quality and a better "solid" feel, but these ACDelco pads are my second choice if Prime Choice is not available. I have done hundreds of brake jobs over the years, used all sorts of pads in the process, and besides the personally preferable Prime Choice Pads, you can hardly beat this price with a reputable name and build quality. For the gearheads out there, the ACDelco pads are of the quality and stock you are used to. My expereicne has been flawless with these pads, as not a single one has come unglued or unmounted from the backing plate. All hardware necessary for install is included, boxes have never come damaged, the pad itself is never gouged from improper handling or packaging, and the fit is spot-on for every application. With a sale or discount, these pads are equally value priced.
Note: If you know you have a brake job coming up, search Amazon for parts individually. With some patience and knowledge, I was able to buy full ceramic pads and 4 slotted performance rotors for my 2007 Mustang for under $120! I replicated the savings on my 2008 Expedition and 2008 F-150 at around $160-180 (no slotted rotors for the truck), and for a 2003 Grand Am GT for less than $100! Sales and timing are key, but it can be done.
