I've been using Meguires products for years and have been very satisfied with many of their products, but not this one. I've tried many different types of glass cleaners from the age old Windex, to spray foam cleaners, paste cleaners, and finally this one. This one is horrible. While initially the cleaner seems to work, it leaves behind a thin oily residue on the glass. In more than 30 years of detailing and taking care of cars I've never encountered a product that hazes/fogs faster than or more than this one does. To make sure I tested the product on all kinds of glass from auto glass to windows in the home, mirrors, aquariums, etc. and even tried using different drying tools from several types of paper towels, microfiber towels, synthetic chamois, and the results were always the same...it fogged/hazed on all the types of glass in a very short time.

Do not waste your money on this cleaner. I've found the very best results come from just plain distilled or R.O. water and a high quality microfiber towel. It doesn't fog, won't harm interior window tintings, and costs practically $0.

Being an automotive detailer I pretty much have tried them all. I like to keep my work supplies separate from my personal use products. I always have a bottle of this on hand. Works on all window types and contains no ammonia. Streak free finish when combined with a microfiber glass cleaning towel. Not to mention, I was surprised to discover that a glass cleaner actually smells good too!

Needed a good glass cleaner. I frequently drive through farming areas and bugs and other debris always ruin the drive. Product works well if windshield is already fairly clean. If out on the road, I use my wipers and get it clean as possible with the wiper fluid. Then I use this product and make sure it is clean, especially for night time driving. Of course if you just washed your vehicle, then this works excellent for a final clean finish for the glass. Otherwise it helps to first scrub any debris that's already on the windshield before applying. Product is a bit pricy, but within the general price of Meguire's products. While it may cost more then other cleaners, it is one of the best for general auto glass cleaning.

I received this product as part of a gift pack, and was eager to give it a try since Johnson Wax 32 Oz Blue Trigger Spray Original Windex® 80127 and other traditional glass cleaners weren't cutting the road grime the way I'd like them to on my windshield.

First, I washed and dried my vehicle. Second, I applied this product as directed. Third, I was impressed by the results, even with some minor streaking issues.

The slightly oily finish this cleaner leaves on the glass was a concern at first, and I did note some streaking, so I went back over those spots with a clean, dry, microfiber cloth to remove them. Once that was removed, glass looked great. Cleaning off the windshield at the gas station seemed to be easier with the glass cleaner having been used days before. Rain seemed to run off easier too. Usually I use Rain-X 800002243 Glass Treatment7 oz., but I'm not sure that I'll need to do that using this cleaner with Bosch 24-CA Clear Advantage Beam Wiper Blade 24"(s) installed.
