I replaced the stock, stripped out bolt on my oil pan for my 1999 Subaru Legacy GT. The original always gave me s**t when trying to loosen it, and I stripped it out the very first oil change after it was seemingly fused to the damn oil pan. I, of course, being 18 at the time, kept using the bolt anyway, perhaps using some sort of elf magic to remove the bolt for each oil change. Finally, my elf magic ran out, and the bolt was stripped to uselessness, and I replaced it with one of these.
This product is so good you'll think you have super oil changing powers, like some sort of very specific and normally useless super hero, and you'll be able to change your oil faster, detect if there are metal shavings (which are a problem if your engine is made out of metal) and it will make it much, much harder to drop and lose. The magnet is like a freaking +10 mana-power-Earth-magnet-eXtreme, and when I pull it out of the oil pan it usually sticks to the side of the oil pan or stays on the wrench, keeping you from trying to find it on the floor of your garage, or having to go wrist deep in whatever you're draining your old oil into. I would abso-freaking-lutely recommend this product to you, especially if your old bolt is looking a bit on the worn side.
