Wix filters use special paper elements that dont break down with high pressure, heat and age. Wix also uses like 40% more element inside. Ive done my research and found out wix was the best investment for my machines. Worth the extra money.

Wix is also marketed by Napa under their "Gold" label at considerably higher price. Wix is well constructed metal end caps holding the filtering element in place and an anti-drainback valve that is quite sophisticated in design. Definitely preferred over Fram and equal to any OEM quality filter on the market.

Wix makes some of the best oil filter. There might be better filter out there, but these are the best bang for the buck. The price on Amazon is a little cheaper than my local autoparts store where I usually buy them.

I purchase these for my other cars and finally pulled the trigger and ordered it for my truck. Beats the FRAM garbage they sell at Walmart. It has metal end cap and the design is as close as you can get to OEM. Great quality filters.
