Trans-Dapt 1413 Oil By-Pass Adapter Reviews
Standard cast aluminum and lightly polished oil filter adapter for spin on oil filters. Lightly polished, so looks better than simply cast aluminim, but not much. Needs better polishing for show applications. Also needs some de-burring and polishing to smooth passages and remove casting flash. With a rotary file, this is no problem. Hand file will take a bit longer. Use thread sealant/Loc-Tite on threads, as they are slightly loose and will leak without some kind of sealant. Over all typical example of what you will find available today.
