This purchase helped and I also bought: Car FM AM Radio Stereo Inline Antenna Noise Sound Filter and the two parts did a great job. I feel that when we have some rain to help ground the high lines or power lines there will be very very little static on my radio.
It took both items to make a difference. Part was my auto engine noise...so yes it was worth the purchases.
