This filter is the correct filter for an '04-'07 Rancher 400 AT. It even comes with new replacement o-rings, unlike many of the other, more expensive filters.

UPDATE: The smaller o-ring fits the 400AT correctly the large o-ring does not.

The quality of the filter looks good and one of two o-rings fit. The larger diameter o-ring was about twice as thick as the correct one. This after a note was added to the box stating the o-rings would not it for a Honda Rubicon however I was installing it on a Honda Rincon. Fortunately the old o-ring was reusable. I purchased 3 of these oil filters and all 3 had the wrong o-ring.

It looks like the one that came out (emgo filter). and came with the gaskets shown. There is not much more to say about it. Fit my 1981 GL500.
