Just bought this for a used 2000 Eclipse I just bought and it fit perfectly. The previuous owner never replaced the original so this was a huge difference in air flow. Really like the fact that carbon would remove odors.

Most automobiles produced over the past 15 or so years have a cabin air filter. They clean the air inside your car or truck by removing allergens, dust, odors and other unpleasant objects and smells in the air inside your vehicle. Most people are not even aware these filters exist, which causes most people to neglect them. I recently changed the Cabin Filter in my daughters car. The old one was so filthy and plugged up, I'm surprised her A/C still worked. Once I replaced it, the A/C poured out three times as much air and it was clean and fresh, thanks to the charcoal filter. And now the A/C or the Heater does not have to work as hard to put good clean air inside the car. This filter works great.
