The lubricant itself is great and works well on anything you might want to spray with silicone lubricant, which is great. But, as many others have noted, the nozzle is pure disaster and that's a big problem. I know you're thinking, "It can't really be THAT bad...!" That's what I thought after I read the reviews here and ordered it anyway. I was wrong -it really CAN be that bad.

The plastic straw thing does NOT fit into the nozzle -it's too big. I tried sanding down one end, but it turns out that in this case there's an incredibly fine line between "Still too big to fit" and "Now it's too loose and lubricant leaks and sprays everywhere when you try to use it", and I was unable to land on that line. Being even more careful, I tried to sand down the other end, same result. Spraying the can without the straw thing (and I tried this before I even started monkeying with sanding down the straw when I saw it wouldn't fit) spews lubricant all over the place with virtually no direction. I suppose if you need to lubricate something really big and outdoors, like maybe big farming tractor things or something, this would not be a problem.

If you're just using it on small things in your house or your garage, it's a giant pain. And that's more than just sour grapes -it's a problem when you have a can full of product that you don't use anywhere near as often as you would because you have to put towels down all over the place and put up with it leaking and spewing when you use it anyway. I can't bring myself to give it one star because the actual lubricant itself is good, but the whole experience is such an annoying pain in the neck I would suggest buying something else.

Great product overall, but the application straw doesn't fit (way smaller than the hole in the nozzle). Seems like a major issue, no?

I use it to lubricate the chrome rods that guide movement of weights in a home gym and the product works very well. Its pretty easy and quick to apply: just spray on and wipe off excess lightly with a paper towel.

The product title now seems to say 12 cans per case but when I bought it was just one can.

I have used this product for years on my car and truck window and door seals. Preserves the rubber keeping it soft so windows and doors seal properly and prevent leaks and wind noise. It goes on slightly wet but drys in 10-15 seconds. Excellent choice any where you need a light lubricant or rubber preservative without the greasy residue to get on your cloths or attract dirt. I always keep a can in the garage. It is hard to find at a retail store. It is usually sold through speciality vendors. I am glad Amazon carries it now!

I bought it for the sliding glass door alone so I can only judge it by that. The lubricant lasts maybe a day.
