I purchased ceramic brake pads 60k miles ago on my maxima and I had no idea how long they last. Well for the rears they had at least a quarter more wear left. My fronts were squealing when I stopped and needed to be replaced. Ceramics don't produce that black dust and are very quiet. I would recommend them highly. I would say that rears are probably good for 80k miles of course depending on your driving but I did have a heavy city commute. Only had these Monroe on for 2 weeks but so far so good. Would recommend a caliper piston reset tool on rears. Fronts were a cake walk to change but the rears were definitinly a pain in the butt to change due to lack of proper tools. C clamp + channel locks= way tooooooooooo long to change rears. Also my hands were sore the following day from torquing on it.
