This oil filter only holds up less than 1 month, but worked great with excellent filtration efficiency..
I drive hard, and have performance air-intake.. Normal oil change interval is 1500 miles/2 months.. Factory oil filter & Castrol Titanium synthetic oil..
Overall,
1. Textured surface, easy remove and install..
2. It kept oil so so so clean for 3 weeks.. It is real 99.9% filtration efficiency..
3. Clogged up at 4th week, oil turns completely black in a sudden (in 2 days).. Poor capacity..
4. Good filter for money, if you are gentle driver.. Cheaper than factory oil filter.. Cheaper than local store..
..I am going for PL30001, which is the bigger/taller version of this one, with same thread size, same price, more capacity.. see the link.....Purolator PL30001 PureONE Oil Filter, Pack of 1

Okay I bought several of these when they were 2 for $8.99 plus free shipping. Like others have mentioned the price jumped up to $10 for 1. Well I imagine sales plumetted. So now here they are again for 1 for $5. A little more than they were, but still very good price, even if these were just some basic filter. With a little research on the web, you can find several people that compare these filters with other major brands. These Purolator PureONE filters are typically right there at the top, for quality of material used, quality of construction, and quality of filtration. Another thing I like about them is the texture of the paint, makes it real easy to get a hold of the filter when removing them for an oil change.
So for a really good filter at a really good price, it is hard to pass this up, as long as they stay around the 2 for $9-10 range.
